POTHOLES that appeared after last month's Big Freeze are forcing the closure of a residential road on Thursday.

Palmerstone Road in Earley, which links Culver Lane with Church Road, will be closed off entirely during the resurfacing works from 9.30am-4.30pm. The diversion route is via Eastcourt Avenue.

Residents will still be able to get in and out of Palmerstone Road during the works.
