FITNESS fanatics put a smile on young faces when they donated more than 200 presents to charity.
The members of Curves ladies' gym in Maiden Place, Lower Earley, donated the gifts to the Parents And Children Together (Pact) organisation on Wednesday last week.
Charity manager Emma Owen said: "The wonderful donations that are made by the staff and members of Curves Lower Earley will be passed on to the families we work with.
"We are immensely grateful to all those who have donated such a wonderful collection of gifts. To see the face of a child who has suffered difficult past experiences light up when they receive a surprise gift is such a special moment."
The charity worked with nearly 5,000 families last year, offering support and acting as a voluntary adoption and fostering agency.
Curves Lower Earley owner Julie Twigg said: "Our members have been really generous and it was great to hand over so many gifts."
