RESIDENTS have hit out at a police van which was seen parked in a designated mother and child bay at a popular supermarket.
The driver opted against parking in one of the regular spaces but instead left the forensics van in a restricted bay at Asda in Lower Earley on Tuesday.
It sparked a lengthy discussion on social media and was reported to Thames Valley Police.
One resident posted online: "Even if there were no other spaces, it shouldn't be parked there."
Another added: "There's plenty of other spaces they could have parked. I often have to drive around trying to find a parent and child space."
