AN 82 year-old man died in hospital yesterday following a collision.
An air ambulance joined police and the fire service shortly after 1.40pm, when a grey Toyota Corolla and a grey BMW 318 were involved in a collision on Headley Road.
The driver of the Toyota, an 82 year-old man, was taken to hospital where he later died.
His next of kin have been informed.
Investigating officer PC Gareth Miles, of Roads Policing based at Three Mile Cross police station, said: “I would appeal to anyone who saw the collision to contact me via the Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101.
“If you don’t want to speak directly to police you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court.”
