A TEENAGE biker has been arrested after a collision in a car park left a woman with serious injuries.
The woman was knocked to the ground on Friday November 13 and is believed to have suffered broken bones in her leg and wrist.
By the time paramedics reached the 59-year-old in Crockhamwell Road, Woodley, it became clear she needed to be rushed straight to the Royal Berkshire Hospital for treatment.
Thames Valley Police later arrested an 18-year-old man from Woodley for a string of driving offences, including driving dangerously and causing serious injuries.
Other offences include driving without a licence, driving without insurance, failing to stop after an accident and failing to report an accident.
A spokesman for Thames Valley Police confirmed the teenager has been released on police bail until February.
A spokesman for South Central Ambulance Service added: "It looks like she possibly had a broken leg and wrist."
