Man charged with attempted murder after woman assaulted
A MAN has been charged with attempted murder after a woman was assaulted in Newbury.
At around 4am on Friday, May 25, a man broke into a residential property and assaulted a woman in her forties.
Keith Davies, 50, of no fixed address, was arrested on Friday and charged with one count of attempted murder on Monday.
He appeared at Reading Magistrates' Court on Tuesday (29) and has been remanded in custody to appear at Reading Crown Court on Monday, July 2.
