NEW waste bins have been installed at a Newbury park to ensure the field is kept in perfect condition.

Victoria Park has been described by town councillors as the 'jewel in Newbury's crown' and further steps have been taken to support substantial investments over the last three years.

A joint venture between Newbury Town Council and McDonalds has seen four new bins installed at the skate park.

Councillor Miles Evans, deputy leader of the council, said: “This is just the latest addition to this superb community space that is enjoyed by so many residents.

“I look forward to welcoming as many people as possible to our second Victoria Park Family Day on May 13, to show the park off in all its glory.”
