A MAN is in hospital with serious head and leg injuries after he was beaten by a group of men outside an Indian restaurant.

The 45-year-old victim had been involved in a row at the Flavour of India on Sunday (February 11) evening on Theale High Street.

He was later assaulted by a group of men at around 9.40pm and was rushed to hospital, where he remains.

During the incident, the victim sustained serious leg and head injuries, as well as facial cuts and bruises.

Two men from Reading, aged 23 and 32, have been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm in connection with this incident.

Both of the men have been released under investigation.
