Duo arrested as police seize drugs and cash
A TEENAGER and a young man have been arrested in connection with supplying drugs in Newbury.
The duo were caught red-handed by an officer who saw a drug deal taking place on Hamilton Court on Tuesday.
A house was subsequently searched and suspected drugs, drugs paraphernalia and a quantity of cash were seized.
A 17-year-old boy and 23-year-old man, both from Newbury, were arrested the same day and have been released under investigation.
The teenager was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs and the 23-year-old was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs.
