A GANG of masked raiders brandishing a screwdriver, scissors and a baseball bat stole cash before fleeing late at night.

Four men burst into a house in Pangbourne on Friday, June 9.

They demanded the startled occupants hand over cash before diving into a dark car and racing off towards Reading.

The burglars, wearing hooded tops and tracksuit trousers covered their faces and struck at 11.15pm.

The occupants were not harmed after the quartet burst into the home in Bourne Road.

Detective Constable Gareth Perry from Newbury Force CID, said: "This was an incredibly frightening incident for the occupants of the house and we are determined to identify and locate those responsible.

"I'd urge anyone with any information relating to this incident to please get in contact.
