A TRENDY fleet of Jet Red buses for Newbury and Thatcham routes were unveiled by Reading Buses this week.

Kennections have announced the launch of this new brand of buses to help customers ‘fly’ between the two towns.

The Jet Red service will run every 15 minutes from Monday to Saturday to link Thatcham, Newbury and West Berkshire Community Hospital.

Tony Pettitt of Reading Buses said: “We believe combining jet red and jet black will provide the people of Thatcham and Newbury with a high quality and reliable link, which will always be there for them, early to late seven days a week.

“We are reducing our simply Newbury and Thatcham products so people can save even more by travelling regularly on jet red and jet black.

“To encourage more people to use the buses, we are launching our jet red services with some extremely attractive special offers on seven and 30 day tickets.

“All these tickets are available on a smartcard, which can be bought and topped up online, as well as via the new Kennections app we are also launching.”

As part of the launch, a seven day ticket will cost just £10 for adults and 30 day tickets will be priced at £40 for adults and £28 for boost customers.

The Kennections app will allow customers to purchase tickets and view live bus schedules to plan journeys.
