AN OAP is set to appear before magistrates after an ambulance was moved while paramedics were treating a patient in the back of the vehicle.
Emergency crews had been called to a medical incident in Pelican Way, Newbury, when the ambulance was suddenly moved.
Alan Dale, aged 67, was charged with taking a vehicle without consent, obstructing an emergency worker and driving without insurance.
He will appear at Reading Magistrates' Court on March 23.
A police spokesman said: “The charges are in connection with an incident that happened at around 2pm on December 29, 2016 at Malt Court, Pelican Lane, Newbury in which a member of the public moved an ambulance."
