A DESIGNER clothes agency has been set up for women to sell clothes to each other.

Carousel Clothing, in Caversham Heights, was founded by Cathryn Bullimore and Sally Moore. They sell people's clothes, shoes, jewellery and accessories, splitting the profits between the owner and the agency, with 2% donated to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).

Cathryn, whose 18-year-old son has Type 1 Diabetes, said: "We've set up the agency in response to the current economic climate but it was also important to make sure we're also helping a cause we feel particularly close to.

"No-one has much money to spare at the moment, but by using Carousel Clothing, our customers have access to fantastic pre-owned clothes and accessories which they can pick up at sensible prices."

The next sale is on Saturday, November 6, 10am-4pm, at 26 Harrogate Road, Caversham Heights. Call 07771 660914 or 07747 408873.
