THREE west Reading men have been charged with drug offences after running away from a car containing cash and drugs in Whitley yesterday.
The trio left the vehicle after being pursued by police and were all arrested shortly after.
Irfan Ishtiaq, 27, of Beresford Road, Zonair Zaman, 30, of Westbrook Road and Hassan Ahmad, 22, of Oxford Road were each charged with one count of acquiring / using / possessing criminal property and one count of possession with intent to supply of heroin.
Ishtiaq was also charged with one count of driving a motor vehicle dangerously.
The failure to stop took place yesterday and all three men have been remanded to appear at Reading Magistrates' Court tomorrow.
