AN EAST Reading man has been found guilty dealing heroin.
Frank Wooton, of Arthur Place, was found by police officers cutting the Class A drug at a property in Arthur Place in April 20 earlier this year.
The 52-year-old denied to one charge of possessing herion with intent to supply but a jury at reading Crown Court returned a unanimous verdict against him today after a two-day trial.
PC John Chen, of Reading CID, said: “Thames Valley Police regards ending the supply of Class A drugs as a high priority.
"Our residents highlight drug dealing as a scourge, causing socio-economic damage to our communities.
"We will tirelessly seek to end such illegal activities and bring the offenders to justice.
"We welcome the guilty verdict returned in this case and hope this acts as a deterrent for anyone thinking of becoming involved in the supply of drugs.”
Wooton will be sentenced at Reading Crown Court on Friday, January 30.
