POLICE are releasing two CCTV images of men they would like to contact following the assault of two men in Reading town centre in July.
Between 4.45am and 5am on July 13 two men, aged 41 and 34, were involved in an altercation with another group of men, and were assaulted in St Mary’s Butts.
Both victims were knocked unconscious during the scuffle and required treatment at the Royal Berkshire Hospital.
Det Con Iain Watkinson, from Reading Force CID, said: “I would be interested in speaking to either of these men depicted in the CCTV or anyone who knows their identity.
“There were lots of people in the area at the time of the incident and I would also like to continue to appeal to anyone who has not already spoken to the police to do so."
Two men, aged 19 and 31, from Reading were arrested in connection with the incident and remain on bail until October 25.
