A man wearing a hoody standing among trees seen exposing himself to girls on their way to school, is being hunted by police.

Officers are linking the attack on the girl to a similar attack just yards away, and a and a trio of girls on their way to school in Caversham.

In the latest attack three girls aged 11, 12 and 13 years, were walking to school on Monday morning when they saw the man touching himself inappropriately as he exposed himself.

The girls then reported it to teachers when they reached school and they contacted the police.

A spokesman for Thames Valley Police said the girls were walking through Prospect Park, near to Honey End Lane, Tilehurst, on Monday morning.

He said: "The man had exposed himself and was touching himself inappropriately.

"We are linking this attack to ones reported to us in Tilehurst and Caversham."

The man was described as white, in his early thirties, 5ft 9ins tall with brown hair.

He was wearing a grey hooded top and black tracksuit bottoms with three white stripes down each leg and trainers.

The latest incident comes after a man targeted a 15-year-old girl as she walked through the park on Sunday, September 14.

On that occasion a man stood in front of the school on Tilehurst Road and exposed himself before walking away.

That Prospect Park attack with another indecent exposure in Caversham where three girls aged 15 and 12 years old, as they walked to school in Balmore Park, the following day.

Any one with any information about any of the incidents were being urged to contact the police.
