TRAFFIC is moving again in both directions on the M4 between junctions 12 and 13 after a horse box carrying propane gas cylinders broke down.
The Highways Agency was alerted at around 1.30pm that a tire blew on the horse box, forcing the driver to stop.
Traffic was halted in both directions as liquid propane gas cylinders are leaking onto the road.
Three fire crews from Reading and Newbury, along with the police and an ambulance, are in attendance.
A separate horse box arrived at the scene to rescue the horses and to allow firefighters to clear the propane gas.
