Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) for the Thames Valley, Anthony Stansfeld, has announced a block grant for organisations that support victims of crime across the region.
Charities, community groups and organisations are being urged to bid for a slice of the cash to help victims cope with the immediate impacts of crime and recover from the harm they have experienced.
Mr Stansfeld hopes the cash will help organisations providing crucial support for victims to continue their work or expand their current support services. He said: “Supporting victims of crime is one of my key priorities and I want to make sure that services are available to help victims cope and recover from the harm they have experienced.
