The licensed Food 4 Thought festival, held in a field off Wokingham Road, was stopped by police at about 1.10am after they received 98 noise complaints.
Residents from as far as Priestwood and Great Hollands, about seven miles away from the event, could hear the noise.
The festival, which was held to raise awareness about Maidenhead-based charity Foodshare, was due to finish at 2am and had been going on for most of the day.
