The event drew huge crowds yesterday and all sorts of activities will keep visitors entertained today.

The headline act in the main arena is comedy car stunt show Dingle Fingle, while on Sunday, the Rockwood Dogs Display will perform, and on Monday Bob Hogg will take to the stage with his sheepdogs, ducks and lambs.

The Birds of Bray, parades of vintage vehicles and marching bands will also keep guests entertained, alongside The Yateley Morris Men.

Live music will make sure toes are tapping, with the New Tones Big Band performing on Sunday and Johnny Gunner and his rock 'n’ roll band playing classic hits on Monday.

In the entertainment marquee, youngsters can get stuck into mini car racing and learn skills at the circus school under the tuition of Tinker Taylor, Big Foot and Furry Foot.

The marquee will also host art and World War 1 exhibitions, while the Reading Cage Bird Society will have a stand.

Train and pony rides, a bouncy pirate ship, bungee jumping, go-karting and archery will keep thrillseekers busy, and among the exhibitors is Quirks Animal Road Show, featuring snakes, lizards and spiders.

The main marquee will host the competitive exhibits, including locally-grown flowers, vegetables and fruit, floral art, crafts, photography, cookery and children’s categories.

Ferret racing will take place at the entrance to the showground, and pet owners can enter their pooches into the dog show and terrier racing in the main arena.

The show is organised by Swallowfield Horticultural Society and gates open at 9am. Tickets are £7 for adults, £4 for concessions and £1 for children.
