THE lineup for the final stage at this year’s sold-out Reading Festival has been announced with less than a month to go before wellies and tents take over the town once more.

The BBC Introducing stage showcases the best upcoming bands on the scene and in previous years has played host acts such as Jake Bugg and Spector who have gone on to play the NME tent and the main stage.

On Friday the stage will feature London soul singer Moko, alternative punk band The Bulletproof Bomb, experimental rock group Broken Hands, 19-year-old folk-pop singer Rebecca Clements and fierce Scottish post-hardcore band Shambles In A Husk, among others.

Saturday will include Rae Morries who collaborated with Bombay Bicycle Club, hotly tipped slacker rock trio Happyness, Cambridge's skate-punk four piece Bloody Knees, ex-General Fiasco members’ new band Oh Volcano and Liverpool pop trio All We Are.

Fresh from supporting headliners Blink 182 at their Brixton warm up gigs will be Prides as well as singer-songwriter Adam French, Swansea based punkers Heavy Petting Zoo and Manchester’s future stars Man Made will be adding to Sunday’s closing day lineup.

BBC Introducing seeks to champion emerging artists from across the UK and this stage gives festival goers a chance to catch the next big thing in an intimate setting.

Reading Festival is at Little John's Farm from August 22-24.
