Ben Blakeley, 22, of Christchurch Road in Reading, denies murdering the 17-year-old, whose body was found in the grave of Blakeley’s dead uncle, Alan Kennedy, in the churchyard of All Saints Church, Didcot, on December 18 last year.
His brother, Jake Blakeley, 17, of Didcot, admits perverting the course of justice but denies preventing her lawful burial.
The jury at Oxford Crown Court have been deliberating since Wednesday afternoon and will resume on Thursday morning because one of them has a hospital appointment.
Jayden’s body was found on December 18 following a massive police search.
