A BODY found in woodland in Tidmarsh today is thought to be missing Pangbourne man Timothy Painter.
The police specialist search and recovery team found the body at 12.56pm after a call from a member of the public.
Mr Painter, 41, was last seen on March 21, near the Asda store in Honey End Lane in Tilehurst. His girlfriend Emily Broun, who appealed for help to find him last month, said he had been struggling with depression.
Officers say his family have been informed.
