Elderly man in hospital after car hit wall
A PENSIONER is in hospital after his car collided with a wall this afternoon.
The 84-year-old was driving a silver Citroen C3 when it careered off the road and hit a wall in New Lane Hill, Tilehurst, opposite St Michael's Church.
He was taken to the Royal Berkshire Hospital, where he remains.
The incident happened at 12.50pm and the road was closed for more than two hours between Usk Road and Cockney Hill.
