A MOTORIST escaped serious injury when his four-wheel-drive flipped over on the motorway today (Thursday).
The driver - believed to be in his late 30s - suffered minor cuts and bruises when he lost control of his Honda 4x4 on the M4 eastbound carriageway between junctions 11 and 12 shortly after 3.30pm.
Paramedics treated the man at the roadside while the Highways Agency shut one lane for 20 minutes to recover the vehicle which landed on its side in the outer lane and hard shoulder.
