River body - foul play ruled out
POLICE have ruled out foul play after a man's body was found floating in the River Kennet in Reading.
Police spokeswoman Alice Adderley confirmed that investigations are complete and the case has been handed over to the coroner's office.
The man's identity is not expected to be released until next week.
Police were called at 2.51pm yesterday by a passer-by, and fire crews from Dee Road and Caversham Road helped to remove the body from the water off Berkeley Avenue in Coley.
