A SECOND teenager injured in a crash in Winnersh has died.

The 19-year-old Winnersh man, who has not yet been formally identified, died in the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford shortly before midnight last night after suffering serious injuries in the crash in Reading Road on Wednesday last week.

Another teenager, 18-year-old Jack Allison, of Huntingdonshire Close, Woosehill, died at Reading's Royal Berkshire Hospital an hour after the 8.55pm crash.

Mr Allison's black Volkswagen Golf was travelling along King Street Lane towards the crossroads when it was involved in a collision with a white Ford Transit van heading along Reading Road.

The 19-year-old who died this morning was also in Mr Allison's car, and its two other passengers had minor injuries.
