Cows stolen from farm

POLICE are hunting cattle rustlers who stole 14 cows from a farm.

The intruders stole the herd from Holybrook Farm in Burghfield Road, Reading, between Sunday, March 4 and Thursday, March 8.

PC Gary Miller said: "I would like to hear from anyone who may have seen suspicious activity near the farm, or if they saw a vehicle loading up these cows as this is a fairly busy road even at night times."

The missing cows were fitted with ear tags displaying the following serial codes: 305788500634, 303929700999, 280364200169, 280364600187, 280364400185, 280364200099, 283308200037, 280225200017, 283541400064, 286685300016, 280165200296, 286685100014, 283539202879 and 283541400099.

Witnesses should contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
