Man in hospital after M4 crash

A MAN was taken to hospital last night after a car and lorry smash on the motorway.

The man was suffering from neck pain after his car and a lorry collided on the M4 eastbound between junction 10 and junction 8/9 at 7pm.

One lane of the motorway was shut for an hour while fire crews from Wokingham Road and Wokingham adjusted the car door and paramedics got the man out the car.

His injuries are not thought to be serious and noone else was injured.
