Firefighters called to early morning car blaze

A CAR was gutted by flames when arsonists struck in the early hours of today (Saturday).
A crew from Whitley Wood fire station went to Bourne Avenue, Katesgrove, at 2.30am to find a Ford Fiesta engulfed in flames parked at the roadside.
They put out the blaze within minutes and prevented it spreading to neighbouring vehicles.
Witnesses should contact police on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
