A WOMAN had to be cut from her car when it flipped onto its side on a country lane.

The victim was travelling along a muddy track off Bowden Green, Pangbourne, shortly after 3pm yesterday (Wednesday) when her Ford Ka left the road and landed on its side.

Crews from Dee Road and Caversham Road fire stations used electric saws and hydraulic lifting gear to remove the vehicle's boot and back seats to free her before paramedics took her to the Royal Berkshire Hospital to treat minor cuts and bruises.
