PEOPLE are being invited to inspect proposals to build more than 100 new homes in Shinfield.

The South of M4 SDL Consortium is holding a public exhibition for the development of a site north of Cutbush Lane in Shinfield, which includes proposals to build 126 homes, children's play areas, pathways and water features.

Ian Tant from Barton Willmore, planning consultants for The Consortium, said: "The principle of development at the Cutbush Lane site is supported by Wokingham Borough's adopted Supplementary Planning Document for the South of M4 SDL.

"Feedback from this exhibition will inform the delivery of a high quality development that will contribute to new housing required by the borough's Core Strategy.

"We look forward to sharing our plans with residents and will very much welcome their feedback to help shape the proposals."

The exhibition takes place at St Mary's Church Hall in Church Lane, Shinfield, from 1.30-8.30pm on Friday, February 3.
