POLICE are hunting burglars who smashed their way into a house in west Reading and stole cash and TV control box.

The two raiders targeted the house in Grovelands Road at about 5.45pm on Saturday, smashing the window and ransacking rooms before fleeing with £200, a black Samsung suitcase and a Freeview box bearing the brand name Human.

PC Ade Hall said: "I would like to speak to anyone who may have seen two men acting suspiciously in the area before or after the time of the offence."

The first is white, possibly in his late twenties, around 5ft 10ins tall and medium build, with shaven, receding fair hair. He wore a dark waterproof bomber jacket with a grey collar trim. His accomplice was a six foot tall athletic black man.
