FIREFIGHTERS are treating an early morning double car blaze in Thatcham Station carpark as suspected arson.

Crews from Newbury fire station went to Station Road at 1.30am today to find an Audi estate and an Audi TT well alight.

It is believed the flames started in the passenger side of the estate and spread to the neighbouring car.

Firefighters spent 40 minutes putting out the flames using hose reels and foam.
