Hospital boss returns to work
ROYAL Berkshire Hospital chief executive Ed Donald is back at work.
Mr Donald returned to his post today (Thursday) after two weeks of speculation he had quit his job following a vote of no confidence.
Hospital spokesman Joe Wise released a statement which read: "Chief executive Ed Donald has now returned from his period of leave. The chairman and non-executive directors are committed to working with the chief executive and their partners to ensure the trust continues to deliver high quality patient care and effective financial management in the most challenging operating environment that the NHS and the trust has faced."
