Four charged following drug swoop

POLICE today named four Whitley people charged with offences during drug raids carried out across the area on Wednesday evening.

Jamie Andrews, 37, of Brixham Road and Robert Collins, 47, of Whitley Wood Road were charged with being concerned in the supply of class A drugs when they appeared before Reading magistrates today.

Delroy Blake, 35, of Ashburton Road also appeared in court today and was charged with two counts of possessing class A drugs with intent to supply and having class B drugs in his possession.

Twenty-six-year-old Candice Keenan, of Basingstoke Road, charged with being concerned in the supply of class A drugs, is due to appear in the same court on Monday, July 4.

Two women, aged 36 and 46, and a 38-year-old man arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs have been granted bail until later next month.
