THE family of a school boy killed in a car crash on Tuesday have paid tribute to their "full of life and huge hearted" son.
Thomas Blunden, 17, was killed with his girlfriend, Alexandra Kurzyniec, 18, as the couple were driving towards Henley on the A404 Marlow by-pass at 8pm, where they were involved in a collision with a blue Mercedes 500 travelling in the same direction.
Tom's dad, Rennie Blunden, who lives in Hare Hatch, said: "Tom was a much loved son and brother with a large circle of friends. Full of life, a caring nature and a huge heart, he was always in demand to repair something for friends and family. He will be sorely missed by all that knew him."
The Piggott School pupil's mum, nan, brother Joe and sister Beth, also wrote an emotional tribute, reading: "Words cannot express how we feel. We have realised today how much he was loved. Hundreds of tributes have come to us from all over the country. It makes me so proud to have had him as my son."
"Tom was lucky to have just started a computer course at Zenos and was really enjoying it. He would come home each day and say how well he had done by getting top marks in his tasks.
"I am very grateful to them for giving Tom the chance to do what he really wanted and enjoyed doing. We are taking one day at a time and it gives us great comfort to know everyone is thinking of us."
