Pensioner in hospital after collision with car

AN ELDERLY pedestrian is recovering in hospital with a broken shoulder after being involved in a collision with a car.
The 75-year-old man suffered serious injuries as he collided with a silver Vauxhall Astra while crossing London Road by the Sutton Business Park in Earley at 3.30pm yesterday (Monday).
The victim was taken by ambulance to the Royal Berkshire Hospital where his condition is described as stable. The driver of the Astra, a 79-year-old woman from Earley, was uninjured.
