A LAPTOP, seven water colour paintings and a banjo were part of the haul when burglars raided a country home.

The intruders broke into the house in Cock Lane, Bradfield Southend, between Wednesday, August 18 and Wednesday, August 25, breaking the lock on the dining room window to force their way in.

A carriage clock was also stolen in the raid.

Witnesses should contact Detective Constable Jason Watkins at Newbury police station on 0845 8505 505 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
