This kiss: Manager Dan Daly with Trish Durkin share a celebrationary kiss.

IRISH eyes were smiling yesterday when the true colours came out to celebrate St Patrick's Day.

Reading Irish Centre Manager Dan Daly decked his Chatham Street club in gold, white and green and served free beef stew as punters danced to traditional music sporting shamrocks and Guinness hats.

The organised entertainment came from the O'Gara School of Irish Dance, Leon's Irish Disco and the Billy Whitley Disco but the usual regulars made it a knees-up to remember.

The celebrations continue at the Madejski Stadium on Sunday March 28 as rugby stars London Irish take on the Sale Sharks for the annual St Patrick's Day Craic.

Supporters can warm up before the game with music and family entertainment at the stadium's temporary Guinness Village from 11am.
