Biker badly hurt in rush hour smash

A MOTORCYCLIST is in hospital after a collision with a car in Berkeley Avenue, Coley, this morning.

The accident involving a Honda motorbike and a red Vauxhall Vectra took place at the junction with Portway Close at 8.15am and caused major rush hour jams

The motorcyclist has a suspected broken pelvis and he was taken to the Royal Berkshire Hospital by paramedics. The driver of the car was not hurt.
