Missing girl may be in Reading

POLICE believe a girl from Hampshire missing since yesterday (Monday) afternoon may be in Reading.

Fifteen-year-old Sophie Parker was last seen at around 5pm yesterday at her home address in Grateley Crescent, Havant.

Detective inspector Floyd Higginson of Hampshire police, said: "We believe Sophie may have travelled to the Reading area and are conducting extensive enquiries to try and find her.

"Sophie is vulnerable due to her age and we are concerned for her welfare. We would ask anyone who knows where she is to contact the police as soon as possible.

"We would also appeal to Sophie to contact us and let us know she is safe and well."

Sophie is described as white, between 5ft 3ins and 5ft 6ins tall, of medium build with long, straight brown hair.

She was last seen wearing a floral low-cut top, black 'PVC' like leggings and knee high black boots.
