POLICE are hunting for arsonists who abandoned a stolen lorry before setting it alight last night (Monday).
Firefighters from Wokingham Road fire station were called to Beech Hill Road, Spencers Wood, shortly after 10.50pm and used two hose reels to extinguish flames raging from the white Iveco truck.
Police spokeswoman Laura Deane confirmed the lorry had been reported stolen from a business in Craddock Road, Whitley.
Anyone who witnessed the attack should contact police on 0845 8505 505 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
