THE ongoing shake-up to social care is the topic of a drop-in day next month.

Putting People First, in which disabled people are given their own money to pay for whatever care they like, rather than having it all provided by Wokingham Borough Council, is being rolled out after a successful pilot project. The drop-in information session is at the CResCent resource centre in Warbler Drive, Lower Earley, from 10am-1pm on Thursday, December 10.
