More than 100 people took the chance to look at Reading's latest party venue on Thursday.
The plush new £1m Manor Suite at Pincents Manor in Calcot was unveiled to guests including Sir John Madejski on Thursday.
The suite replaces the old barn which burned down in 2005 and is available for corporate functions, parties and weddings. Christmas bookings are already being taken and two functions were booked up at last night's launch.
Marketing manager Claire Ambler said: "A lot of people were saying what lovely premises we had."
Owner Maurice Webb supplied an E-Type Jaguar which helped publicise a classic car show being held at Pincents Manor in January.
The Manor Suite boasts a main function room with all mod cons where Christmas parties for 150 will be staged. In addition there is a smaller room upstairs for around 80.

Remember having a couple of superb company events in the old barn there! Didn't realise it had burned down. I wish them every sucess!
