SINGING sensation Danyl Johnson is through to the next round of The X Factor.
The public vote kept the Arborfield teacher in the competition for another week after he sang Aerosmith's I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing yesterday (Saturday).
The performance had mixed reviews from the judges, but Louis Walsh said: "There's no way you should have been in the bottom two last week, absolutely no way. This is a talent show, and you're a very talented guy.
"'I know you've had a setback, but I want people at home to give you a second chance. You have something special."
Rachel Adedeji left the competition after a sing off against Lloyd Daniels. Earlier in the show - which rock legends Bon Jovi also performed on - all nine finalists sang Aerosmith and Run DMC's classic Walk This Way together.

I'm thrilled that Danyl has survived this week. I honestly think Danyl deserves it, and deserves to do well in this TALENT show, top 3 atleast (along with Joe & Olly).
What I hate is the fact Cheryl and Dannii have something against him, for no reason whatsoever. If I remember correctly, Cheryl was some crooked toothed dog who couldn't even sing, and when did Dannii last have an album out? Danyl is far more talented than these two unfair women. If Danyl was in their group, they would be all over him like Simon is, he's just a threat to Lucy, Stacey, Joe & Lloyd.
The public just need to connect with him, when he performs, watch him carefully - don't believe the trash that comes from the papers, none of you know the bloke, and if anything, you're jelous as well. No right to put this guy to follow the crowd. I'm thoroughly happy he's made it through and his confidence will have come back, which means fantastic performances.
You chace your dream Danyl, or let your dream chase you. You're special. How people can compare you to Hitler is beyond me. Your voicebox is far more talented than any part of them, you go bud.
Once J&E get voted out next week, it should be very tight. Good luck to everyone.

Haha, it's not a talent show, it's an entertainment show. Booting off the talent and pushing those odious twins towards the final is just a cynical way of getting the idiotic masses to watch this dross. Shame on Danyl, someone with talent, for going into this stupid circus.

How can anyone take this show seriously anymore? the judges are at fault for turning this talent competition into a circus! they spend more time bickering bewteen themselves, making snide comments that are not necessary, and then giving so many negative comments to the vulnerable people on stage! they should all know by now that giving the contestants good fair, honest and positve comments, will help the singers no end, but that is no longer what the show is about anymore, all they seem to care about is ratings, when those appalling twins were accepted in the final 12 I was shocked, then to top it all off, the public are continually voting them back at the expense of acts who can at least sing.
