Woman treated for head injuries after crash

A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving after a crash on the A4 at Beenham yesterday left a woman with head injuries.

There were delays on the Bath Road until 2pm after the accident at midday involving a blue Audi A4 and a blue BMW Z4 outside The Winning Hand pub.

Police spokesman David Paull said: "The woman from the BMW was treated at the scene for minor head injuries."

The 22-year-old Audi driver has been released on bail until September 11.
