Mystery body pulled from river

THE body of a man was pulled from the River Kennet yesterday but the cause of death remains a mystery.

Police were called to Blake"s Lock in Newtown at 12.05pm after a member of the public spotted the body.

Police are treating the man"s death as unexplained and say a post mortem is due to take place next week.
