DASTARDLY deeds and deadly chicanery will be in the air later this month when a medieval murder mystery arrives in Rotherfield Peppard.
The Chiltern Players perform Murder at Pepparde Hall in aid of the War Memorial Hall in Gallowstree Road on Friday, June 19, at 8pm.
The play is set in the not-so-merry England of the Middle Ages, with nobles and peasants up to all kinds of evil felonies and sneaky scheming.
The audience is invited to watch the action, witness one of the colourful cast meeting their maker and then, over a substantial ploughman"s supper, grill each of the suspects and decide who dealt the fatal blow.
Tickets, £10 each, include the meal and must be bought in advance from Occasions gift shop in Wood Lane, Sonning Common, or by contacting 0118 972 3628.
Soft drinks can be bought and guests can bring their own alcohol.
